7 Things you can do right now to clear your skin

Throw away all your conventional face washes, moisturizers, and acne creams
and instead be gentle with your skin.

In total contrast to popular belief, these things don’t actually help, and in many
cases make the acne far, far worse than it needs to be. They irritate your skin
into creating more acne, as well as possibly making it look rashy, washed out, or
dull (not vibrant, like your true self!).

When it comes to skin care, this might go against everything you’ve ever been
told about how to treat acne, but…. seriously. I’m telling you this heart to heart;
acne victim to acne victim. LESS IS MORE! 

2. Switch to Water

What you eat makes a huge difference to your skin and whether or not you
break out. Your skin is an organ and needs nutrients to function properly.

In addition to cutting down on processed foods and eating more real, whole
foods (including plenty of fruits and vegetables), one thing you can do right now
is to replace everything you drink with water or herbal tea, and this will go a
huge way to clearing your skin. Soda, milk, caffeinated drinks, sugary drinks, and
juice can all contribute to acne in various ways, so taking those all out and
replacing them with health giving water is MASSIVE! 

3. Slow Down, and Have Some Fun in the Sun
 
Start meditating for ten minutes a day. Stress is a big acne trigger for many
people and taking a breather and being still with meditation is hugely beneficial,
even just for ten minutes a day.

And if you’re a really busy person who doesn’t take enough time for themselves,
I’d also highly suggest making sure you take time out each day to do something
really fun that you get a lot of pleasure from.
